Facing a year of chemo, radiation, and surgery, Melissa adopted Captain and his sister Diva as emotional support kitties, but midway through her treatment, Captain was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). FIP is considered fatal, but it’s not. It’s an extremely curable disease with drug therapies that are currently—and STUPIDLY—black market. Within hours of his “fatal” diagnosis, we started Captain on one of these medications (GS441). That was a year ago and we have saved six more cats since then with the help of our generous donors.
