The Litterati

The Litterati

When a woman approached Kelly in PetSmart with three newborn kittens she’d found on the street, Kelly saw that they were so recently arrived in this world that they still had their placentas attached!

Worried that they might not make it without their mother to nurse them through these critical first days of life, Kelly decided to rewrite their futures. She gave them to one of our wonderful fosters, who bottle-fed and cared for them until they were ready for adoption.

She named this trio of classic American Shorthairs after a trio of classic American authors: Emerson (female), Hemingway, and Steinbeck. They have now been published on adoption websites and are ready to hit the best-dwellers list. Will you be the one to give their story a happy ending?
